Matthew joined IDF as an 11 year old, a career spanning 6 years at the Club. Over the years, he has worked tremendously hard on improving his technical abilities alongside his game awareness. During his time at IDF, Matthew has played in multiple positions, which are directly attributed to his increased game awareness, being able to understand and anticipate play from a variety of perspectives.

Club Director André spoke with Matthew about this new opportunity. “It is not only an opportunity to prove what my environment has provided for me in my 6 years developing , but a chance for me to further go after my dreams to become a professional footballer”, said Matthew.

Matthew joins Jay Fortune at ATL United Academy, where Jay has paved the way for other IDF teammates to be looked at by one of the countries leading MLS Academy Programs.

Speaking with Tony Annan, ATL’s Academy Director, regarding multiple IDF player’s in their Club, he said, “We are working closely with ID Futbol and have a great relationship with André, he prepares players and pushes them to the next level so they can achieve their dreams.
